I'm catching up... just wanted to comment on this episode. I liked the scenes at the DiMera Mansion. Judi Evans is a good crier, maybe she was over the top but I liked how she panicked and screamed No! when Clyde heard the baby and said he would go and get his grandson. In just watching this episode I had no idea that Lucas and Adrienne were in on the plan. I thought it was obvious that Chad was only pretending since he was so cocky the whole time. I agree with those who said Jennifer should have been there. Because of Thomas, and since she had some creepy encounters with Clyde last year, it could have added more tension in the room. James Read was over the top in a good way. I thought him being aggressive and shouting worked well in these scenes. Compared to last year when he was creepy and scary in a more calm way. Depending on the situation both can work. I loved the last scene when Lucas called Andre a freak show, Adrienne was crying over Chad and Clyde walked towards the crib. They played one of my favorite background music scores (of the ones currently being used by the show). I also liked the Xander-Nicole-Deimos scenes, but ONLY because of Paul Telfer. I love the way he pronounces his lines, and he has so much charisma. Brady and Theresa = Boring and felt out of place in this episode. |
